[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] e [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] come could be living in a dream feel the world is at our feet and ours in right [Music] quiet time quiets away golden we free like a river Carri quiets away there we go good evening welcome to the Planning and Zoning commission hearing for October 18th G to have a roll call please chairman human here Vice chair Kos here commissioner Morgan commissioner Quinn here commissioner Velasquez here commissioner bar Kell commissioner Lopez here we have Quorum commissioner Morgan did call in so he has an excused absence the next item is our Pledge of Allegiance led by the Vice chair I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all thank you Vice chair okay to the audience prior to this meeting we had a study session going over the items one through six which includes the cancellation of the November 1 meeting is there any item on the agenda that anybody wants to have a hearing about if not what is the commission's pleasure Comm chairman commission Lopez I move for the approval of the October 18th regular meeting for Planning and Zoning okay have a second second okay we have a second any further discussion all those in favor say I I any opposed any abstention motion carries okay we are recommending body to the council this moves on to council what next week or November November okay at the November meeting so all right any announcements from staff uh just really quick chairman so uh with your consent agenda we canceled the uh November 1st Planning Commission so the next one's November 15th that is the day that we are targeting bringing back uh that really small pile of code amendments that we talked about in that work session so uh we are feverishly working we're in the middle of the kind of stakeholder Outreach comment period been getting a lot of good feedback and making lots of tweaks to this code uh so we really anticipate bringing back on November 15 the code amendments more than likely because it's such a big pile and we got a lot of good feedback from commission at the work session we want to be able to walk you through all the changes and feedback we've gotten and what we the changes that we've made and allow enough time for comments and any other kind of feedback so more than likely we're going to schedule a much longer study session on that day um so we can really walk you through each one of those things so I haven't we haven't figured out kind of what time that is but I would anticipate at least a twoh hour kind of study session to include whatever other cases we have as well to walk you through all that so just want to give you a heads up get it on your on your mental calendars and we did talk about in prch with David to extend it out so that we can talk about it and possibly vote on each Amendment separately if we have to or discuss each item so okay yeah when we bring It Forward we were we actually talking about that today in staff mean of how we bring this forward because we wouldn't want the whole entire pile to tank because of one item and we're not able to kind of extract it out so well not wanting to have to go through maybe every sing motion for every single article of code that we're changing we're going to figure out a way to do that in a way that we can uh make it easy to motion if if something's just not ready we can slide it out and not take down the whole group of the earlyer you're can get that commission to be great versus Friday just so we have a little bit more time to go through it because it was a pretty long packet so okay we'll do any other any other items that's it any other items from okay just an one quick one there are two both Mesa and kirne both have override elections going on it's all I think they're both all mailin so I just encourage you to vote for those look at there's publicity pamphlets and if you can take a look at them make sure you vote uh on those items so with that we are adjourned
