either of the two July meetings. So, we
may be cancelling both of the July
meetings
um of the planning and zoning commission
regular meeting for June 18th, 2025.

to reiterate, Commissioner Ga is out of
town volunteering, so she's excused for
today. We'll start with the pledge of
allegiance. Kyle,
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the
United States of America, to the
republic for which it stands, one nation
under God, indivisible, with liberty and
justice for all.
All right. Thank you very much. Um, next
on the agenda would be any unscheduled
public appearances. Since we do not have
anyone gracing our presence here
tonight, I think we can move forward on
to u the next agenda item, that being
the consent agenda.
We went over this in the previous study
session and as we understand it, the
area plan update has been um
shall I say removed,
withdrawn from consideration. Um so we
have our June 4th meeting minutes and
our sign code amendment um officially I
guess as part of our consent agenda. Is
there a motion for the consent agenda?
Vice Chair. Yes. I make a motion that we
accept the consent agenda as presented.

Second. Great. Is there any discussion
on the consent agenda?
Vice Chair. Yes. Chair human. for for
the for the record, I'll be supporting
the item um on the sign code, but I'd
also like council to reconsider the fact
that state statue allows you to um not
have signs in the downtown area um
actually downtown area by the mall for
tourism um because they just clutter up
our downtown. We spent millions of
dollars on making sure our downtown is
beautified and yet um it council has
decided again not to use state statute
to eliminate those and I think it's more
of a self-fulfilling situation versus
what's right for our citizens. So I just
want to go on the record for that.

wish everyone a very happy um and
healthy Fourth of July since it sounds
like we may not be meeting perhaps even
at all in the month of July. Is that
correct, David? Uh vice chair, that is
correct. Uh currently we do not have any
cases um tracking to either of the July
meetings. So more than likely we'll be
cancelling the both July meetings.
