well thank you I call the November 22nd 2024 city council special meeting to order city clerk Ben Lane please conduct the roll call thank you mayor mayor David Ortega pres vice mayor Barry Graham pres council members tamy caputi here Tom Durham here Betty janick here Kathy Littlefield here and Salange Whitehead here city manager Jim Thompson here City attorney Sherry Scott here City treasure Sony Andrews here acting City aitor L KF here and the clerk is present thank you mayor well excellent um please observe the following as we conduct our city council meeting virtually first make sure you are in a quiet space with no to minimal background noise each time you speak announce your name to identify yourself to listeners and say thank you to denote that you are done speaking please mute yourself when you are not speaking be sure to then un un mute yourself uh as you begin to speak I will ask each council member individually for questions or comments after each council member has had a chance to speak once if you have additional questions or comments please raise your hand and the option on Microsoft teams and staff will notify me so that I can call on you if you if you are on the phone and have additional questions or comments please notify me so I can call on you the purpose of this special meeting is to approve the official canvas of the 2024 general election so we have two items the first item I move to adopt resolution number 13307 as the official canvas of the city of Scottdale November 5th 2024 general election do I have a second second second bety Janik second thank you we have a motion and a second and I will call on uh city clerk Ben Lane to um do the roll call and uh proceed thank you mayor uh vice mayor Graham I vote yes thank you councilman caputi yes council member Durham yes councilwoman Janik yes councilwoman Littlefield yes councilwoman Whitehead yes and may Orga yes thank you mayor it passes unanimously excellent um and next I would uh ask if any council member uh has any questions or comments hearing none um I would then um move to well I would uh ask that the uh city clerk announce each council member uh for their well I mve to adjourn uh this special meeting do I have a second second second good and I would ask our city clerk to uh uh take the roll call and vote thank you mayor vice mayor Graham yes thank you vice mayor councilwoman caputi yes thank you councilwoman council member durb yes thank you council member councilwoman Janik uh thank you councilwoman Janik councilman Littlefield yes thank you councilman Littlefield and councilwoman Whitehead yes thank you and thank you councilwoman Whitehead and Mara yes thank you mayor that passes unanimously thank you accordingly we are adjourned thank you
